Actual Jerusalem"Fabricated Hoax"is what Philippe Karsenty can call the French Channel Two portrait of the death of a boy in Gaza on Sept 30, 2000 which was seen all over the world. The French Appeals Court held that Karsenty, a French citizen, had not slandered Charles Eidelin, a senior reporter at French owned Channel two. Karsenty called the news clips, that were seen by millions of people around the world, proporting to show the death of Mohammad al-Dura "a fabricated hoax". The facts presented to the Court were that there was no sign in the unedited tape that the boy shown was dead. The New York Times newspaper has had news articles describing the propaganda aspect of PA summer camps for youth, funded by the European Union and Japan. In these youth camps the theory and practice of deception were taught including actions to hide the setting up of ambushes, and fabricating injuries for media's consumption. On December 22, 2008, Philippe Karsenty spoke to a meeting of the World Center of the Bnai Brith Organization at Jerusalem's Bet Begin on the topic of “The al-Dura Affair: Lessons for Israel, the West and the Media”. Karsenty and two other presenters put forth his case. On Sept 30, 2000 Talul Abu Achmad was a camera man and filmed various scenes in Gaza near an Israeli strong point. Charles Endolin edited the film. No one died in the film. CNN desk in Jerusalem refused to use the film. In each scene Gazans pretended to get hit by Israeli Army gunfire. Some scenes have a "take two" repetition where a previously enacted event is acted out again. In some scenes the person who is "hit" switches which side he was hit on. In some scenes happiness is evident on the faces of participants. In some scenes , after the scene is over the "dead" child moves his legs and looks around. The child called "Mohammad al-Dura" is shown in two scenes. The first he and an older man,"his father" we are told, are just sitting there against the wall with the focus on the scene of the injury and ambulance pick-up of someone else. In the second scene we are told that the "father" and "son" were just sitting there when Israeli troops for some unknown reason opened fire on them. We are told the boy is dead. He lies limp next to a non-responsive father. So the world would know the of the Death of Mohammad al-Dura.... Except that Philippe Karsenty's legal proceedings were able to get some of the extra moments edited out at the end of this scene. The boy lifts up his head to look around, moves his right arm, and moves and suspends his leg in the air. We don't see any impact reactions of bullets hitting either the "father" or "son" We see no blood on the ground, nor on the shirts, nor on the pants. In testimony later giving by the "father" he said that he had been shot in the hand and arm. And he showed his wounds.Philippe Karsenty then introduced surgeon Dr. Yehuda David. At Tel Hashomer hospital orthopedic microsurgeons Dr Yehuda David has a record of the father being operated on for a hand wound in 1992 from a knife attack by Hamas. The doctor took tendons from the leg to use to repare the hand. Dr David reviewed the medical file of the father. The wounds the father shows in 200 were identical to the knife wounds and surgery in 1992. Was Mohamid AlDura shot? He was hit in right knee according to the father. But the pictures in the film show the right knee was intact and functioning. :: The examining surgeon in Gaza says he was hit in left knee. And died of wound in chest and abdomen. Later in time a wound on the head has been claimed, because pictures of the hospital body clearly has a wound on the head. This body is clearly not the boy showed in the France 2 film. Karsenty then showed numerous anti-Semitic posters produced from this hoax from Al Qida to Arab state memorials. |
