Families and Friends

When discussing the apparent problem of disunity of the Jewish People in Israel one often hears these questions : How can the situation be improved? Why doesn't someone do something? Where can I turn to make a difference?

The answer is an organization called "Families and Friends", whose main ideas are simple:

  • Work together on the what we have in common not what we don't.
  • Break down walls and build bridges instead of the other way around.
  • Concentrate on our positive connections with each other rather than negative.

Rabbi Ephraim Greenberg and his professional staff, help strengthen these attainable goals through various expertly planned activities. In this framework, hundreds of Jews have already gone across the bridge which connects us as one people and keep that connection going. This long list of people includes many backgrounds and types, who without "Families and Friends", would never have the chance to experience and enjoy each others company.

There are two ways to help "Families and Friends" achieve its worthy goal. Each and both are helpful in keeping this important program going well. The first is to physically come, participate and help plan and run "Families and Friends" activities. The second is donations. Running an organization of this quality constantly needs funds from whoever is kind and generous to give. Families and Friends is supported only by private donations.
